The Myologik Resistance Band X-Heavy (black) is the strongest level of the range: resistance 4 of 4. The 100% latex loop demands effort from the very first centimetre and stays taut to the end of the movement. It is used in athletic, performance and strength training as well as in classes and personal training. Choose this level when the exercise and your fitness level call for extra heavy resistance.
Black is the band for athletes who no longer feel challenged by Heavy: through squats and side steps the resistance works across the full range and calls for clean leg work. At this level the wide design with its 5 cm band width really pays off: the pull is spread across the full width and makes for more comfort. Heavy and X-Heavy suit athletes and strong leg and hip exercises; X-Heavy is the step above, for high resistance in squats and side steps. The premium-quality latex retains its dynamic elasticity over many sets, including in intensive performance training. If you train for athletic performance and the red band has become too easy, X-Heavy is the right choice.

How it is used
X-Heavy comes into play for squats, side steps and strong hip exercises, in functional training as much as in performance training. The loop works on almost all muscle groups, in single or multiple use. You can train indoors or outdoors: at the gym, at CrossFit or on the pitch for football, handball, basketball, golf and tennis. Extremely light and very compact, the band stows away in any sports bag. The enclosed guide shows strength and coordination exercises.
