The BFR Bands (Blood Flow Restriction), Set of 2, are training bands for occlusion training on the upper arm and thigh. They are used in strength and endurance training with low loads. Two bands in red/black are enough to fit both sides at once – no dumbbells, no machines. The training is used in rehabilitation and health-oriented exercise as well as in performance sport; qualified instruction before first use is essential.
Occlusion training needs very little kit: two bands, nothing else. The bands are made of plastic and are red and black. Each band is 60 cm long and 5 cm wide. That makes the set the tool for sessions where heavy weights are not an option or simply not available – in rehabilitation and health-oriented exercise as much as with strong performers and top athletes looking to set new stimuli. The training parameters are clearly defined: a subjectively light to moderate restriction, repetitions to muscle failure, three to five sets, 30 seconds of rest between sets. If you want to train with low loads and are looking for a tool that travels anywhere, the BFR bands are the right choice – provided you have had qualified instruction before first use.
At a glance
- Set of 2 BFR bands – both sides at once
- For upper arm and thigh
- For strength and endurance training with low loads
- Plastic material, colour red/black
- Each band is 60 cm long and 5 cm wide
- Qualified instruction required before first use
How it is used
Have a qualified professional instruct you before first use. Then place the bands on the upper arm close to the shoulder joint or on the thigh close to the hip joint – as near to the muscle origin as possible, without muscle tension and not over the muscle belly. Choose a subjectively light to moderate restriction. Then train with low loads in strength and endurance work: repetitions to muscle failure, three to five sets, 30 seconds of rest between sets. The training is used in rehabilitation and health-oriented exercise, in the gym and in performance sport.

Scope of delivery
- 2 × BFR band (Blood Flow Restriction)
Please note: Have a qualified professional instruct you before first use. Training parameters: choose a subjectively light to moderate restriction. Repetitions to muscle failure, 3–5 sets, 30 seconds of rest between sets.
Safety information: Blood flow restriction training deliberately restricts circulation and is not suitable for everyone. Do not use if you have high blood pressure, cardiovascular disease, thrombosis or an increased risk of it, varicose veins or other vascular conditions, diabetes with vascular damage, during pregnancy, or with an acute injury, inflammation or open wound on the limb concerned; when in doubt, seek medical advice first. Never apply the bands so tightly that numbness, tingling, pain or a blue or white discolouration occurs – release them immediately if any of these appear. Limit use to 20 minutes per session, wear the bands only during the exercise and never leave them on at rest. Not suitable for children or adolescents.
