Ankle Trainer Pro-Supi

The Pro-Supi-Trainer is a deliberately simple training device for the ankle joint: 30 cm long, 5.5 cm high, in black. On it, pronation and supination – tilting the foot inwards and outwards – are trained in small, controlled movements. It comes in one size and suits both feet. At the Institut für Myologik it is used in treatments and seminars. The trainer is made of rigid foam and is suitable for loads up to 120 kg.

Put a foot on it for the first time and you immediately see why nothing more is needed here: a black tilting surface, 5.5 cm high, that answers every small shift of weight at once – the foot does the work, not the equipment. At 30 cm long the trainer stays flat enough to disappear into the cupboard at the practice, a sports bag or upright beside the mat, and is ready again in seconds. The device comes from everyday practice and seminar work: it is used in treatments and seminars at the Institut für Myologik. The fact that it comes in one size only and suits both feet takes the choosing off your hands – one device for the whole practice or the whole training group. If you are looking for an uncomplicated training device that lets you work the ankle joint specifically, with no assembly and no accessories, the Pro-Supi-Trainer is the right choice.

How it is used

Place the Pro-Supi-Trainer on firm, level ground and work from a standing position through the tilting movement inwards and outwards. Pronation and supination are trained in small, controlled movements. A session fits in after training, in the evening on the mat, or at the practice between appointments. Both feet can be trained one after the other on the same device. The Myologik resistance bands complement it for strengthening leg and hip muscles.
